Description

This service helps families who have been separated and tries to find people who are missing because of wars, fights inside a country, natural disasters, or moving to a new place anywhere in the world. 

The Tracing Service does a few main things:

  • Search for people who have been lost because of wars, fights inside a country, or natural disasters; 
  • Search for family members who are missing for serious reasons like health; 
  • Help families talk to each other if normal communication is not possible because of fighting in their area; 
  • Find proof that someone was taken to prison or forced to work so that the family members can make a claim; 
  • Help to find the graves of soldiers who died in wars.

The service is available in the following languages:

  • Ukrainian
  • Czech
  • Russian
  • English

Accessibility & Additional information:

  • This service is for family members (blood relatives) of missing persons;
  • Prior appointment is required (phone, email);
  • The service is provided during national holidays;
  • The service is completely free of charge;
  • Barrier-free environment;
  • Separate and barrier-free toilets for women and men;
  • Presence of female staff.
