Social Counseling

Providing individual social counseling for individuals and families with a permanent or temporary address in the capital city of Prague.

This service helps with:

• Finding accommodation, negotiating with landlords, and reviewing lease agreements.
• Resume writing, motivation letters, job searching, and more.
• Financial questions, such as processing benefits from the Labor Office, pensions, debt-related issues, etc.
• Recognition of qualifications (nostrification), retraining, communication with educational institutions, etc.
• Accessing healthcare, such as obtaining health insurance and finding doctors.
• Providing basic information about written and unwritten rules in the Czech Republic.
• Support in dealing with authorities and other institutions.
• Communicating with schools and educational facilities.
• Addressing educational and behavioral issues of children and youth.
• Finding Czech language courses.
• Signing up for educational and leisure programs for children and youth.
• Facilitating contacts with other social services.
