Social Rehabilitation for the Deaf, Hradec Králové

The mission of the Social Rehabilitation Service in the organization "Tichý svět" is to enhance social habits and skills among clients with hearing and combined disabilities. The service aims to lead clients to independence and integration into the majority-hearing society. It also aims to create barrier-free environments in public institutions (government offices, hospitals, police, etc.) and the private sector.

The service focuses on training social skills and developing knowledge to help clients in their daily lives. The service supports the clients' own efforts and activities and their independence to the greatest extent possible to avoid dependency.

This service provides:

• Help with training independent navigation, using transportation, and working with computers.
• Help with completing various tasks, including handling information and posting ads.
• Support in resolving any work-related matters.

Please note: Telephone communication in Ukrainian is possible only through written text. Oral communication in Ukrainian or Ukrainian sign language requires the presence of an interpreter and is possible by prior arrangement.

• This service is for deaf or hard-of-hearing people over the age of 11.
