This office of the Ministry of the Interior deals with issues related to the stay of foreigners:

• Applications for extending the stay on a long-term visa,
• Applications for permission for long-term residence or extension of its validity,
• Applications for permission for permanent residence,
• Applications for confirmation of temporary residence on the territory (if you are an EU citizen),
• Applications for permission for the temporary residence of a family member of an EU citizen or extension of a residence card,
• Reporting changes of residence or other changes related to your stay in the Czech Republic,
• Applications for issuance of a residence confirmation.

Details about the workplace:

• This office is wheelchair-accessible; however, access to the building itself is significantly hindered due to ongoing construction around the building.
• Parking in front of the building is prohibited.
• The waiting area is on the ground floor (building is marked as KCD4); the reception area with counters is on the second floor.
• The office has a coffee vending machine and a snack vending machine.

Important:

On Fridays, the office hours are reserved for clients with appointments at a scheduled time. Appointments can be made by phone.

The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic recommends that clients make an appointment before visiting the workplace: clients with appointments are given priority and thus avoid longer waiting times. In extreme cases, walk-in clients may not be served!
