Last updated: 3/21/2024

Description

Regional Assistance Centres for Ukraine (KACPU) operate in all regions of the Czech Republic and provide assistance to individuals fleeing armed conflict in Ukraine. They help with applying for temporary protection and arranging accommodation for those who do not have their own place to stay.

KACPU offers the following services:

  • Registration of Ukrainian citizens with the foreign police.
  • Processing of temporary protection.
  • Assistance with resolving further stay in the Czech Republic.
  • Accommodation for clients without their own housing (from 1st January 2024, it is only given at KACPU in Ostrava)

State humanitarian housing from 1st January 2024:

If you want to apply for temporary protection and do not have your own housing, go to KACPU in Ostrava. Now, state humanitarian housing is only given there.

Due to capacity reasons, it is not possible to choose a housing facility or region in the Czech Republic where your state humanitarian housing will be given.

For more information about state humanitarian housing, how to apply for it, and answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ), visit the State Humanitarian Housing page.
