PORT Crisis Intervention

proFem, o.p.s. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has been assisting victims of domestic and sexual violence for 30 years, helping them to regain a full, fear-free life.

Crisis intervention provides short-term support focused on the "here and now," offering immediate relief. It also helps to improve situations when a client finds herself in emotional distress, unsure of what to do next, or unable to perform her regular activities. This service can be utilized when standard coping methods fail, and the individual feels unwell. It is designed for times when it is very difficult or impossible for someone to engage in activities that they previously managed without difficulty, such as focusing on work or school responsibilities, or engaging in favorite hobbies.

The service in English is only by appointment; otherwise, it cannot be guaranteed that an English-speaking worker will be available on site.

• This service is for the victims of domestic and sexual violence aged 16 and over, and their close ones.
• No prior appointment is required.
• Closed on public holidays.
• Free of charge.
• The building is not wheelchair-friendly.
• The building does not have an elevator.

• Shared and/or not barrier-free toilet for men and women.
