Description

Community meetings in Brno are informal intercultural events that bring together incomers* and local residents, providing a space for building friendships and fostering an inclusive environment.

The organization NESEHNUTÍ organizes these gatherings to support the integration of incomers into the mainstream society of the South Moravian Region through various activities for all age groups, language support, and networking among intercultural workers. In this way, it aims to raise awareness within the majority society about the lives of foreigners in the Czech Republic, contribute to a more balanced and truthful view of incomers, and inform the public.

For more information and upcoming meeting dates, please contact the organization at the email address provided below.

*Who is an incomer? The terms most used are "foreigner" or "migrant". However, the organization NESEHNUTÍ prefers to use the term "incomer" because they believe it does not evoke as many negative associations and can encompass a broader spectrum of people coming to the Czech Republic.
