Description

This service offers the opportunity to participate in a culinary workshop where locals and incomers* meet to cook together, share experiences, communicate, and deepen informal and friendly ties. It takes place approximately once a month.

Kulinárna is a long-term community event aimed at creating a space for intercultural encounters and raising awareness among the general public about migration and refugee issues while providing citizens with direct personal experience with representatives of other cultures. Each session focuses on a specific theme chosen by the chef or chefs preparing the workshop. Incomers have the opportunity to express their own ideas and organize a public event themselves.

For more information and upcoming workshop dates, please contact the organization at the email address provided below.

*Who is an incomer? The terms most used are "foreigner" or "migrant". However, the organization NESEHNUTÍ prefers to use the term "incomer" because they believe it does not evoke as many negative associations and can encompass a broader spectrum of people coming to the Czech Republic.
