Celsuz – Services for Foreigners

Celsuz – Services for Foreigners, a registered social service, informs foreigners about solutions to adverse social situations that may be caused by cultural and language barriers or a lack of knowledge about residency legislation.

This service offers basic, specialized social and legal advice, particularly in areas such as:

• Support in understanding one's own situation,
• Information about available services,
• Assistance with lost or expired documents.
• Preparation of documentation for residency permits or Czech citizenship applications.
• Assistance during official proceedings including the Asylum and Migration Policy Department, Foreign Police, social security offices, labor offices, Labor Inspectorate, medical doctors, and health insurance companies.
• Finding accommodation and employment.
• Guidance in social systems such as social benefits and insurance.
• Support in education, including the recognition of diplomas.
• Translation and interpretation.

The service is available to all foreigners in difficult life situations regardless of their residency status, as well as to Czech citizens who need help with issues related to the residency matters of foreigners, such as family members or employees.

• Friday: 8:00 – 12:00; afternoon is by appointment

• Sunday: closed
