Interpreting Services for the Deaf

CNN ensures barrier-free communication for people with hearing impairments, facilitating full understanding and preventing social exclusion.

The interpreting service effectively mediates information (interpretation/translation) from various forms of visual communication (Czech Sign Language, Signed Czech, lip-reading) to spoken language and vice versa.

Appointments can be made through the so-called connector service by phone (SMS/WhatsApp): +420 773 699 262.

• Tuesday: 11:00 – 15:30
• Wednesday: based on appointment

Accessibility and Additional Information:

• The service is intended for clients with hearing impairments, aged 7 and older, residing in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region.
• Prior appointment is required (except for Tuesday).
• Closed on public holidays.
• Free of charge.
• The building is wheelchair-friendly.
• The building has an elevator.
• This location has female staff.
• Shared and/or not barrier-free toilet for men and women.
